hi everyone,
We have just hit peru after a month in ecuador. the amazon was good and finaly got to meet a tralantula.
we spent time in the jungle, massages and bathing in the hot springs of banos, lisa got sick in riobamba for 1 night, tubing down the napo in amazonia, relaxed in a treehouse hammock overlooking the jungle, cable car above quito and met an alpacca, shopped at the otavalo markets, more waterfalls, hiking through bat infested caves. the scenery is one of the best we have seen with volcanos and canyons all over.
Here we get ready for the macchu picchu. Lima is very nice we have been here 3 days now. its clean, hot and the food is great. we visited each square and viewed inca ruins, catacombes and churches. today we meet our new gap group and say goodbye to rachel from our ecuador trip. tomorrow we will head for the sandy beach place called pisco. home of the toxic pisco sour. sandboarding is the option here and beach.
very unfit and unready for macchu picchu but at least the altitude does not bother us anymore after ecuador.
5 weeks to go till we are back and still peru, brazil and chile.
