INCA TRAIL AND BRAZIL

Hi everyone,
we have completed the wonderful 4 day Inca trail and loved every minute of it.
We woke up at 4.30am and headed to the base of the trail, at that stage it was rather cold but bearable, we were rugged up in beanies, scaves and gloves for most of the first day.  The first day was really easy, but Aaron thought the second day was hard (it really wasnt, but we havent had any exercise for 4 months so he was forgiven.)
Most mornings we were up at 5am to start the trek and and got great views everyday usually covered up by cloud and mist. On the 4th day we were up at 3am to view the spectacular Maccupichu.  After walking 1hr in the rain the weather cleared to a hot day, without clouds, it was the most amazing thing we have ever seen and definatly worth the 4 day hike.  We were really lucky to get such spectacular views of Macchu picchu because most days it cloudy.
After the inca trail there was more shopping in cuzco and on to the amazon of peru.  spiders, mozis, caymans, birds, giant frogs, and piranahs, and to top it off lisa almost stood on a rainbow boa constricter. az went on a night spider hunt bushbashing with a guide to find the most aggressive and deadlyest spider in the world called the wandering spider. also seen were giant lesser venomous ones but az recieved loads of mozi bites again.
lima was farewell to our group and then off to brazils iguassu falls.
the falls were amazing and we did the shot boat safari into the falls. we got completely drenched just lucky the camera was in a waterproof bag and got not a drop. lisa wanted the poncho but i said youl be fine so im still hearing about it now. the views of the falls are definately up with the best we have seen and the walk around them got us again drenched. the weather is so hot here.
next we have hit the beaches of rio de janeiro for some beach time and speedos and thongs. just kidding speedos would never fit az. rio is so hot and expensive more than melbourne. the waves here are huge but its not so safe at night so we are being careful. our hotel is beachfront and really nice to end our days in brazil.
tomorrow we are going to sugerloaf and the redemer statue (7 wonder) and a forest and visiting the world cup football stadium. copacabana is clean and hot but the only problem besides the crime is the extra big brazilian bootys in gstrings. so we have booked our flight home and only have one more country left to visit being chile.
see you all soon le n az n the big brazilian thong.
